Chapter Meeting minutes are missing for this year, therefore the following is extracted from BOG Meeting minutes and is assumed to be correct:

The Chapter Meetings continued at the Cathay House through this Chapter year.

Al Oakes arranged for a plant tour of the Air Canada maintenance hanger at Dorval airport in Montreal, on September 20th, 1965. This was followed by a joint meeting with the Montreal Chapter.

The October meeting speaker was Morse Wilson of Carrier Corporation.

The November meeting speaker was Andy Boggs the 3rd, of ASHRAE headquarters. His topic was "ASHRAE". At this meeting there was also a Past Presidents Table and all past presidents were invited, plus Mr. B.J. Horsburg of Montreal, Director and Regional Chairman.

The Christmas Party was held at the Sampan Restaurant on December 21st, 1965 (recorded a $17.00 loss!).

The January meeting speaker was a Mr. Ramsay from the Worthington Company and his topic was "Direct Expansion". This was preceeded by a technical session on "Refrigeration Piping".

The February meeting speaker was Taylor Kahoe and his topic was "Professional Balancing of Air and Water".

The March meeting program topic was the new Ottawa Civic Center.

The April meeting program included reports from local National Technical Committee members.

At May’s meeting the following slate of Officers were elected in by the members:
President - Al Oakes
Vice-President - John Kennedy
Secretary - George McRae
Treasurer - George Carscallen
Board of Governors - Rudy Jetzelsperger, Paul Leung, Dave Minshall

President Gord Goodkey turned over his office to the incoming president Al Oakes and thanked the executive for their assistance during the past year.
