Chapter Meeting minutes are missing for this year, therefore the following is extracted from Peter MacGowan's BOG Meeting minutes and is assumed to be correct:

The Chapter Meetings continued at the Cathay House through this Chapter year.

The October meeting speaker was P. Dumais of Atomic Energy, and his topic was "Values of Radioactivity to Man in the World Today".

The November meeting speaker was James MacNiven, assistant manager for Operations of the N.C.C.

January's meeting topic was "Certified Rating Program", presented by Brian Kent of AMCA.

The February meeting speaker was J. Hacker of Carrier, and his topic was "Building a Psychrometric Chart".

The March meeting speaker was Mr. Graham of Bird Archer, and he spoke on "Chemical Treatment of AC Systems".

The April meeting included a tour of the Riverside Hospital. The meeting topic was "Water Pollution Control in the Seventies", presented by Art Fee and Bill Kerr. The "River Must Live" film from Shell Oil was also shown.

At May’s meeting the following slate of Officers were elected in by the members:
President - Dave Minshall
Vice-President - Peter MacGowan
Secretary - Harry Atkinson
Treasurer - Lorne Wilson
Board of Governors - Rudy Jetzelsperger, Soli Dubash, Bill Graham

The May meeting also included a showing of the 1969 Grey Cup film.

President George Carscallen turned over his office to the incoming president Dave Minshall and thanked the executive for their assistance during the past year.
